Blaster Houston TX 77041 Job duties:

• Operate blast equipment and related machinery efficiently and effectively.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve the desired anchor profile for surface preparation.
• Maintain blast system and dust collection equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure blast cleanliness meets required standards for coating application.
• Complete all necessary blast paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervise helpers and ensure their adherence to safety protocols and job duties.
• Load and position parts onto racks for blasting, inspecting them for defects that could impact coating application or durability.
• Thoroughly inspect all areas of parts, including threaded sections, for damage and clean as necessary.

Blaster Houston TX 77041 Requirements:

• Prior experience operating blast equipment and related machinery preferred.
• Knowledge of anchor profile checking and machine adjustment techniques.
• Familiarity with blast system operation and dust collection maintenance.
• Ability to maintain blast cleanliness according to specified standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork.
• Commitment to complying with safety rules and customer specifications at all times.
• Availability for Monday to Friday night shift 1 pm – 9 pm, but train during the day for several weeks Monday – Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm
• Must wear steel toe shoes for safety purposes.

Location: Houston, TX 77041

Pay: $20 depending on experience

Shift: Monday – Friday 1 pm – 9 pm with possible overtime. Will train during day shift (7 am – 3:30 pm)
