We are seeking a Waste Water Operator/Handyman to join our team and operate and maintain our production wells, water/wastewater unit processes, and treatment facility equipment. As an integral member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility.

Waste Water Operator/Handyman Brookshire TX Job Duties:

• Operate and maintain treatment facility equipment including valves, pumps, motors, disinfection equipment, etc.
• Conduct routine testing, monitoring, and maintenance of production wells, water/wastewater unit processes, and basic laboratory analyses.
• Respond to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair treatment equipment, pumps, motors, sensing devices, instrumentation, and electrical support.
• Ensure facilities are clean, neat, and secure.
• Minor landscaping around office/plant such as edging, mowing, leaf blowing, and removing weeds
• Provide customer service functions when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned such as door hanging and landscaping.

Waste Water Operator/Handyman Brookshire TX Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred)
• Water/Wastewater Operator’s License specific to state and site-specific requirements
• Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures, and safe practices
• Previous water or wastewater treatment experience is desirable
• Ability to follow manual & operating instructions
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet
• Basic knowledge of water/wastewater operations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Pay: $18

Location: Brookshire, TX
