Join us as a temporary Pipe Yard Forklift Driver in Katy TX for a plant shut down. This role offers an excellent opportunity to put your forklift skills to use in a specialized yard environment. You will play a vital part in ensuring large diameter metal pipes are moved and loaded safely onto flatbed trucks. If you’re dependable, safety-minded, and experienced in operating forklifts around heavy materials, this could be the right fit for you. Facility closing down October 31st, 2025.

Pipe Yard Forklift Katy TX Job Duties:

• Safely operate a forklift to move, stage, and load large diameter metal pipes onto flat bed trucks
• Load and unload pipes onto flatbed trucks with precision and care
• Inspect forklift and equipment daily to ensure safety compliance
• Maintain a clean and organized pipe yard environment
• Follow OSHA and company safety regulations at all times
• Assist with general yard operations as needed
• Communicate effectively with drivers and team members for safe loading
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly

Pipe Yard Forklift Katy TX Requirements:

• Proven forklift experience handling heavy and oversized materials
• Experience moving and loading large diameter metal pipes
• Ability to safely load and unload materials onto flatbed trucks
• Strong focus on safety and situational awareness
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Physically able to work in an outdoor yard environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening
• No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies ever

Location: Katy, TX
Pay: $17–$19 per hour depending on experience
Shift: Full-time, day shift
