Forklift Mechanic Sealy TX Job Duties:

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in forklifts.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, oil changes, brake adjustments, and battery checks.
• When necessary, replace or repair worn and damaged parts such as hoses, belts, filters, and gears.
• Use diagnostic tools to test and ensure proper equipment operation.
• Maintain detailed repair logs and service documentation.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to reduce downtime.
• Assist with preventative maintenance planning.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Forklift Mechanic Sealy TX Requirements:

• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift or heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics.
• Must have own basic mechanic tools.
• Dependable with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Sealy, TX job site.
